This Policy also outlines how customers can make their preferences known regarding when and how Guard 1 may send marketing communications to them.

We will not share any private information that personally identifies you (”personal or business information”) with any third party unless we have your consent; or to protect our rights or property; or as required by operation of law or the request of government regulators.

What Information We Collect

Guard 1 only collects business and personal information that is provided voluntarily by you on one of our information forms. The information we collect is not sold to or shared with others except as otherwise required by law or as disclosed to you in this Privacy Policy.

As a standard practice, Guard 1 requests an e-mail address from every potential customer requesting a PADCenter™ demo and individuals completing an on-line application. We will occasionally send e-mails to follow up on PADCenter™ demo requests and on-line application submissions.

Guard 1 may also collect certain non-personal public data in the course of normal business. Examples of this non-personal data include web log information such as your web browser, operating system, pages visited, time of day, source IP address, browser type and ISP, among others. From time to time, Guard 1 may purchase personal information from outside sources. This information is used to identify potential new customers, as well as analyze the existing customer base. The information purchased from outside sources is strictly for internal use and is not sold or shared.

How We Use Your Information

If all or substantially all of Guard 1’s assets are transferred through merger, acquisition, bankruptcy or any other change of corporate control, then customer information will be one of the transferred assets. All employees, contractors and other independent companies engaged by Guard 1 to perform work that involves access to personal information are contractually required to keep the information confidential and private and are not permitted to use it in any way other than what is necessary to perform their work for Guard 1.
